Open Access Commitment
All papers published in JCAR are immediately and permanently open access. There are no subscription fees for readers and no article processing charges (APCs) for authors. JCAR does not charge for submission, review, or publication.
Licence
Papers are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence unless otherwise stated. This permits unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original work is properly cited.
Archiving
All published papers are deposited in Zenodo, where they receive a permanent DOI. This ensures long-term preservation and discoverability independent of the JCAR website.
Self-Archiving
Authors may post their accepted manuscripts on personal websites, institutional repositories, or preprint servers at any time. Published versions may also be deposited in institutional repositories.
